Summer Wine Tasting

Wednesday, July 25 at 5pm

Eric Taylor from Bottles Group Inc. returns with his choices of wines for the summer. We will start the evening with a summer cocktail and then onto a food and wine tasting. 

The menu will include:

Cucumber with hard salami

Roasted shrimp cocktail

Nectarine & Blue cheese over butter lettuce

Artisian bread

Price $20 per person

Pot Luck Supper

Wednesday, July 18 starting at 4 pm

​We will start an early evening (4pm) with Flutist and teacher Wendy Klein who will be accompanied by a cellist and violinist. Wendy's beautiful musical program will have an educational twist. 

Following the program, (5pm), we will gather for a potluck supper (in our air-conditioned dining room). In order to have a varied selection on our menu, please call in advance with what you will be bringing. Maybe you can try out Aunt Mary's Summer Squash Casserole dish or your Uncle Bernie's Vegetarian Chili!

Jessica will be making Gazpacho. If you don't cook, just let us know and we will suggest something. Desserts are always welcomed!!!!!!

Wine, beer and Soft Drinks will be available for $5.00 for 2 drinks.

AAA Driving Course

Tuesday, July 17 from 10 am - 2 pm


This one day course discusses preventative driving and gives helpful advice. Anyone taking this class will receive a certification that may give you a discount on your insurance. (Please check with your insurance company.)

​John Paul, certified AAA driving instructor, makes the class interesting. One must attend the entire class. There will be a break for lunch. You are welcome to bring your own and eat in the cafe.
