Chocolate & Colonial Chatter (Philadelphia)

Day 1:: Journey south to Philadelphia – birthplace of America. In addition to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and the Betsy Ross House, we'll see busy bodies,
fire-marks, and learn about cracked bells and cracked smiles with a touch of chocolate and Colonial gossip! Marvel at exquisite mosaics, stunning sculptures, splendid architecture and a bit of Hollywood as we tour this beautiful city, once known as the "Paris of America." Experience a wine and chocolate-tasting before a family-style dinner, then make a dessert and take home the recipe.
Day 2:Today, a concentration on the old city with a visit to the Liberty Bell, the engaging Visitor's Center, and sites in Independence National Historic Park. Lunch is on our own at the outstanding, energy-efficient Comcast Center with its entertaining 2000 square foot HD LED display, winter garden and enticing food court. The afternoon is for exploring on our own or join the local guide for further discoveries. Dinner tonight is included, with a special visit by the Philadelphia Mummers -- even learn to do the Mummer's Strut!.
Day 3:Admission to the National Constitution Center, a monument to our freedom from Revolutionary War days to the present. See "Freedom Rising", a dazzling multi-media show. Stroll among 42 life-size figures in Signer's Hall and be a part of history by signing today's Constitution. Visit a creative soap artisan, learn how chocolate lip balm is made and take one home. Finally, savor a 4-star lunch aboard the Moshulu, the largest 4-masted sailing ship afloat, offering unparalleled views of the Delaware River. (You may recognize it from the movies.)

The Big "E" - Celebrate Rhode Island

For more than eighty years people from all over North America have come together in Springfield, MA, to celebrate all that is uniquely New England. It's a touchstone event that has become a yearly tradition for generations. It's where family and friends congregate to be entertained, to eat, to enjoy . . . and to have the time of their lives!
Tour includes Deluxe Motorcoach transportation and Admission to the Fair.

NEW ENGLAND AQUARIUM & MAGGIANO'S LITTLE ITALY
Saturday, Oct 16th, Payment in full due by September 10th
Tour includes: Shopping and browsing at the Prudential Center; Lunch at the famous Maggiano's Little Italy - featuring delicious Italian food and a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of pre-World War II Little Italy; and Admission to IMAX and the New England Aquarium. Dive into the world of water without even getting wet! Explore vibrant coral reefs, from the Bahamas and the tropical Pacific to temperate Australia. Meet the lionfish and the stonefish, some of the most poisonous fishes in the sea. Discover how the Aquarium collects these
specimens, introduce yourself to the harbor seals and don't forget to say hello to Myrtle, the green sea turtle. Also, experience all these creatures on the largest screen in New England - the Simons IMAX Theater.

Tour includes: Time on your own at Mohegan Sun (9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.); Casino Bonus (subject to change) $15 Food or Full Free Buffet Coupon and $15 Free Bets; Show - "Cratchit's Christmas" at the Cornerstone Theatre - 4 p.m.; a snack pack; Motorcoach transportation provided by Conway Tours. Visit Mohegan Sun and receive a casino bonus worth $30. Then a leisurely ride through Connecticut's rolling hills to the Cornerstone Theatre for a great performance of "Cratchit's Christmas" with all the joy and music of the season, a nonstop celebration with a twist to everyone's favorite holiday classic.

WHITE MOUNTAIN CHRISTMAS
Dec 8th - 10th (3 days/2 nights), $25 Deposit due July 8th; Balance due Sept 9th
Enjoy the splendor of the White Mountains in winter. This holiday tour offers spectacular entertainment, activities, gourmet dining, and the fine amenities of the White Mountain Hotel and Resort. The hotel will be completely decorated in the Colonial style reminiscent of the famous décor of Colonial Williamsburg. This is the perfect opportunity to do some Christmas shopping and avoid the crowds.
Day 1:: Travel to North Conway, New Hampshire, stopping for lunch on your own along the way. In North Conway is the opportunity to visit over 200 tax-free outlets and specialty shops. Arrive at White Mountain Hotel and Resort, in one of the most spectacular mountain settings in New England. The resort also features outstanding facilities such as the renowned dining room Ledges, the Tullamore Tavern, health club, game room, and a year-round outdoor heated pool and Jacuzzi. Upon arrival, enjoy a Yuletide Welcome Reception in the Tullamore Tavern, This evening, dine in Ledges, off the menu, followed by entertainment in the Grand Echo Ballroom.
Day 2:Enjoy an off-the-menu breakfast in Ledges Dining Room. Then depart for the historic train station in North Conway Village for a special train ride on "The Apple Cider Express". The train will stop at the White Mountain Cider Company Country Store and Cider Mill in Glen, NH, where you may enjoy hot apple cider and their famous cider donuts. Then have time to shop at Zeb's Country Store with over 5000 New England-made items, as well as in-town boutiques. After lunch at the hotel enjoy a comedy show in the Echo Ballroom. This evening, after another wonderful dinner in Ledges, adjourn to the grand finale Christmas show in the Echo Ballroom.
Day 3:Another breakfast off the menu in Ledges Dining Room. Depart for home, stopping for lunch on your own along the way, with many pleasant memories of your holiday.
